A comfortable and affordable lodging option near the consulate, with clean common areas and air conditioning. It's a great value. The room I booked was for one person; I felt a bit cramped, but it was comfortable enough. The Wi-Fi would occasionally cut out, but it would come back on. Overall, I recommend it.

Very nice, comfortable, and clean, ideal for the consulate appointment. There's a small shop next door, and across the street is a delicious restaurant called Mi Pueblito. Breakfast is around $130. You have to book through Airbnb.

Excellent place if you have an appointment at the CAS or the consulate. I recommend calling the WhatsApp number when you're outside the hotel if you want to make a reservation.

Very close to the consulate, excellent service. The bathroom is shared between two rooms, but everything is in good condition: hot water, clean bathrooms, clean sheets and blankets, air conditioning in the rooms, and internet access. No one bothers you; we rented the room for three people—my daughter and I were there. They have a rule about keeping quiet after 10 pm, which is perfect for those who have to get up early or have very early appointments. There's a small kitchen and an ironing area if needed. I highly recommend it. You have to book through Airbnb or Expedia, but they also have a phone number on the door to make reservations via WhatsApp. Check-in is at 3 pm.

"Five stars! A very clean and safe place right in the heart of Matamoros. The hosts were excellent, and the location is perfect if you need to get around the city quickly or visit the consulate. I would definitely stay here again."
